Hey there. I'm Kristen. I'm a mom, wife, Mexican food lover, and third grade teacher in West Michigan. I enjoy inspiring young minds while
combining learning with God's word. I didn't always want to be a teacher. After
high school, I pursued a nursing degree until I met my husband. (Can you guess
what he did? That's right. He was a teacher himself.) As we dated, I began
pursing a degree in Elementary Education. I also coached cheerleading for 6
years at my husband's school. It was coaching in a Christian High School that
grew my desire for teaching in Christian Education. My husband and I married in
the summer of 2003 and I graduated with my Elementary degree in 2006.
Today I am entering my tenth year of teaching and my fourth time in third
grade. It is my hope that in 2020 I will graduate with my Master's in Learning Disabilities as well. To know more about me, you can follow my Instagram or
